Ways to buy USDT on the TRON network — exchanges, P2P and wallet on-ramps — and how to withdraw to your own TRC20 address without choosing the wrong network.

USDT TRC20 is Tether's dollar stablecoin on the TRON network: fast, cheap to move and accepted almost everywhere crypto is. Buying it is simple. Most mistakes happen when withdrawing, not when buying.

Option 1. A centralized exchange

Large exchanges (Binance, OKX, Bybit and others) sell USDT for bank cards, bank transfers or other crypto.

  1. Register and complete identity verification (KYC), which most exchanges require.
  2. Buy USDT with a card or transfer, or buy on the exchange's P2P market.
  3. Withdraw: Withdraw → USDT → network TRC20 (TRON), paste your T… address.

The exchange charges a fixed withdrawal fee, typically around 1 USDT on TRC20.

Option 2. P2P

P2P markets match you with other people who sell USDT for local currency, with the exchange holding the seller's coins in escrow. Use only the platform's escrow, check the seller's rating and never release payment confirmations outside the platform.

Option 3. Buy inside a wallet
